Individuals must be members at the time of registration to receive the member rates for the meeting. Refunds will not be provided for the difference in registration fees if the attendee becomes a member after registering.
The cancellation deadline for registration is April 27, 2022. After the deadline, there is a $50 cancellation or change fee. All virtual registration purchases are final, and no refunds will be permitted once your registration has been completed.
Requests for cancellation must be received by April 27 to be eligible for a refund. Requests must be emailed to ddw@xpressreg.net. Phone cancellations are strictly prohibited.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO POLICY
Photography on-site at DDW is allowed for personal, social or noncommercial use; however, presenters have the right to request no photography, and in those situations photography is strictly prohibited. Attendees taking photos must do so in a nondisruptive manner so as not to disturb the presenter and other attendees. Flash photography is not allowed. Video recording, live audio or video streaming, and recording for commercial use are strictly prohibited. Failure to comply with this policy will result in removal from the session room and loss of a DDW registration badge for the remainder of the meeting.

The American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. STATEMENT ON DISCLOSURE

Recommendations and Guidance Statements on the care of patients will be highlighted and discussed. Choosing appropriate treatments remain a challenge for patients with these chronic liver diseases and the implementation of up-to-date guidance can positively affect treatment decisions and patient outcomes.

This session is designed to demonstrate the “art” behind the science of working through differential diagnosis for unknown cases. Through live interactions with the case presenters, hepatology experts will work through interesting and challenging cases and speak out loud their thought process as the case unfolds. Progress of Intestinal Architecture/Mapping by Spatial Omics (GRG Symposium)

The Gastroenterology Research Group (GRG) session on spatial-omics. Cell distribution differences have been observed in diseased and normal tissue. Evaluation of various cell populations in the intestine using spatial-omic analyses will prove useful for studying the role of intestinal cells in normal and pathophysiological conditions.

This session represents the most prestigious and highest-ranking, cutting-edge, fully edited endoscopic videos presented at DDW. These submitted videos receive the top ratings during our peer review. The highest-scoring video from the peer-reviewed process for each category will be presented a “Best-of-the-Best” award in that category. However, there is no guarantee that each category will have an award given. In addition, one final overall winner (the ASGE-GIE Award) will be selected from those identified as “Best-of-the-Best” videos. This award will be announced at the end of the Video Plenary session.
World Cup of Endoscopy Session
Tuesday, May 24, 1–3 p.m.
This session features a friendly international competition of selected videos from various countries. Selection into the World Cup will be based upon the entertaining content of the video, with the objective of selecting one video from several countries. On average every year, approximately eight to 10 countries compete in this session. All selected videos will be presented and scored live by an international panel of judges during the session. The top three winners will be declared at the end of the session and receive awards. This session is intended to foster a fun, relaxed and entertaining atmosphere!

Join us for this unique roundtable opportunity to meet national program directors and current fellows who will provide a crash course on successful fellowship applications. Senior residents will learn the keys to getting the fellowship spots they desire.
Junior residents will have the chance to home in on the types of fellowships they should seek to help accomplish their goals. This small-group forum has been a favorite through the years because of the intimate interaction between residents, fellows and program directors.
