Getting Started
Visit the DDW registration site to start the process of registering and securing housing.
Choose How You Want to Attend
On the registration site homepage, choose the circle icon that matches how you’d like to attend: in person, online, OnDemand, exhibitor or group (10 or more attendees). To see a description for each category, hover your cursor over the corresponding circle. If you cannot attend the meeting in person or online, you can select OnDemand to purchase access to on demand sessions after DDW ends.
Join the Community Online and Find Your Record
Once you’ve selected how you want to attend, a pop-up with the choice to register socially using LinkedIn or Twitter will appear. Choose the platform and authorize InGo to access the account. This option will:
- Auto-fill some information for you, speeding up the registration process.
- Allow you to see who else is attending DDW, as well as who from your specific social networks is attending.
- Allow you to invite your colleagues via direct social media messages, and share your excitement about DDW at the end of the registration process.
You can also select “or click here to register with your email” to skip the social authorization and start registration with one of two ways:
If you are a member of one of the sponsoring societies (AASLD, AGA, ASGE or SSAT) OR have attended DDW in the past six years, you can use one of two ways to locate your record:
- Using an email address you previously used to register for DDW.
- By searching your last/family name plus your zip/postal code.
Once your record is found, click on the “Register Now” button to proceed to Step 1.
If you are not a member and have not attended DDW in the past six years, or cannot locate your record, once you’ve entered your email or your last name and zip code, please select either “Start a new registration” or you can click the “Register as a Nonmember” button.
Step 1: Contact Details
You will be asked to enter badge information including your name, professional designation(s), company, department, job title and mailing address. Please enter your information carefully. You will also review several DDW policies.
Step 2: Demographics
You will be asked a series of demographic questions. Your answers will be kept confidential and will help us ensure that future DDWs meet your educational needs.
Step 3: Refer a Colleague
Send personal invites and social posts to your colleagues and friends via LinkedIn, Twitter or email to join you at DDW 2023. You can also skip this step for now and invite others later. Check your confirmation email for more information.
Step 4: Registration Options
During this step, you will choose to register for the full meeting (DDW Scientific Sessions) or for a Postgraduate Course Only. Please only select the latter option if you only want to attend a one-day Postgraduate Course. You can also select additional ticketed sessions on this page (DDW Breakfast Connections, DDW Meet-the-Professor Luncheons, Postgraduate Courses, etc.).

Step 6: Review Information
Please be sure to review all your information carefully before proceeding to checkout. If you find errors, click on “edit this registrant” or “edit package selection” and make the appropriate changes. At this step you can also add another registrant or a guest.
Step 7: Payment
You will be asked to enter your credit card information and accept the DDW Terms and Conditions.
Step 8: Confirmation
Once you’ve submitted payment, you’ll have the option to invite colleagues to register via direct social media messages.
Upon successful payment, a confirmation will be sent to the email address you entered within 24 hours. The registration page will automatically redirect you to the Registration Resource Center (RRC). There, you will be able to update your information, print a receipt, book housing, upgrade your registration and more.
Step 8: Housing
If you’re attending in person in Chicago, your registration confirmation email will include a link to book your hotel room through onPeak, DDW’s preferred housing partner. From the RRC, select “Housing” and click on a hotel to start your booking.
