Mark your calendar for these important dates related to DDW 2021 abstract submission:
- Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022: Acceptance notifications sent by email to presenting authors.
- Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022: Deadline to apply for a DDW Basic Science Travel Award.
To give authors the opportunity to submit novel research that was not complete at the general submission deadline, DDW will accept clinical and basic science late-breaking abstract (LBA) submissions. The following timeline applies to LBA submissions:
- Thursday, April 7, 2022, at 15:00 Eastern time (UTC –4): Co-author financial disclosures due.
- Monday, April 25, 2022: Acceptance notifications sent by email to presenting authors.

Abstracts selected for presentation by AASLD, AGA and SSAT were published online in the May 2021 supplement to Gastroenterology. Abstracts selected for presentation at DDW 2020 by ASGE were published online in the June 2021 supplement to GIE: Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
