Career and Recruitment Center

As part of HEALTHeCAREERS Network, it’s connected to the entire GI professional community, allowing job seekers to search for GI opportunities in all practice settings. Stop by to have your CV professionally reviewed in time for the DDW Career Fair.

This showcase will display and highlight exhibitor products (both new and older products with new indications) and/or Satellite Symposia (SS) that will be held before or after DDW scientific sessions. Promotional materials for the products and invitations to SS and Product Theaters will be available for attendees to take.
Trainee and Early Career Lounge
7:30 a.m.–6 p.m.
This space is dedicated to trainee and young GI attendees. Come meet and network with peers from around the world over a cup of coffee. Information will be available from each of the sponsoring societies, in addition to trainee-specific programming tips at DDW.
ASGE Learning Center
8 a.m.–5 p.m.
The ASGE Learning Center is a dynamic, interactive educational resource for DDW attendees, providing an opportunity to view educational endoscopic videos and interactive CD-ROMs, as well as attend hands-on endoscopic demonstrations.

AGA Postgraduate Course
8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
At this 1.5-day, clinically focused course, you will learn from the foremost experts on GI and hepatology on advances in the past year. Additional fees may apply. Learn more.

AGA Poster Tours

Subject-matter experts from AGA will help you navigate the Poster Hall by leading tours of the most significant research presented in several topics areas. Additional fees may apply.
Don't miss your opportunity to attend free ePosters tours at the DDW 2019 ePosters Theater, located in the Poster Hall. Daily ePosters tours, curated by society experts, will highlight the latest science featured in the Poster Hall in a small, theater setting. Tour topics and dates will be announced in February.
DDW Meet-the-Investigator and Meet-the-Professor Luncheons
Participate in a scholarly, dynamic discussion in an informal, small group atmosphere. A boxed lunch is included. Additional fees may apply.
ASGE Postgraduate Course
This course will feature an expert faculty of master endoscopists, who will review the latest endoscopic technologies and share tips for perfecting various procedures. Additional fees may apply.
DDW Diversity Symposium
Jointly sponsored by all four societies, this symposium will cover career development strategies for diverse faculty in academia and practice. All attendees are welcome to attend.
DDW Diversity Reception
Immediately following the Diversity Symposium, this reception provides a networking opportunity for attendees to gather, discuss relevant issues and learn more about what each society is doing to promote diversity in GI.
ASGE Hands-On Workshops
